Things are starting to look better, despite a couple of set backs.
Setback one, I found out I caught C-Diff again, so another delay in me getting released out of the hospital to go home, and back to colonoscopy land to do another stool transplant.
Setback two, a nasty, fluish type head cold which I directly attribute from living in the hospital.
So I sit here and wait right now, hating hospital bureaucracy, as I have yet word on when I will go through the stool transplant to cure my C-Diff a second time. I found out Tuesday the C-Diff had returned, was told a stool transplant would happen Sunday, but now I’m in a holding pattern, as no actual orders have been written. Clench my fists in a little frustration.
I forgot to post some pics from January 17, 2013 just after I came out of my toxic shut down, where I received in the mail my cane. This cane is awesome, and I think my work folks from the bottom of my heart for making this possible.
Yes, the bed is truly to small for me, but I make due at night, not saying though I can hardly wait for my King size bed at home.
I also have to thank Michael Heredia at www.blackberryempire.com for purchasing my new BlackBerry Z10 for me. I haven’t been writing as much I would like for BBE, but I’m sure once I get home, I’ll get back in the swing of things.
I am still on oxygen, only 1.5 litres resting and 3-4 walking, but I’m trying. This headcold set me back about a week or so, so my energy and fatigue levels were quite high.
I’m still in quite a good mood, still Living Like A Boss, and my appetite is back full force. I now weight 180 pounds, and will try to post later pictures of how much weight I’ve lost through this living experience.
